How to set up and save a Telegram AI filter

A precise filter answers four questions: what the message author needs, where it matters, what to exclude and which groups to watch.

State the goal

Use one sentence about a concrete need: ‘People currently looking for help translating a conversation with a doctor in Vietnam.’ Buyer requests, seller offers and general discussion usually belong in separate filters.

Set boundaries

Name a city when it is required. Exclude ads, self-promotion and resolved cases. Choose relevant source groups so a language rule does not run across unrelated communities.

Test before saving

Try a typical match and non-match from the filter card. Test a short reply with context if those matter to you. A test does not send an alert or change saved rules.

Save and review

An edit appears as a draft first. Confirming stores a new version and refreshes search examples. Restore a previous version if quality drops. Irrelevant and Missed labels inform the next comparison.

Try it with your groups

Open Zuvi, choose an accessible source and test the rule on a real example before monitoring starts.
