Reduce false alerts without missing real requests

Too many alerts and missed requests need different fixes. Start with concrete messages rather than a general assumption that the AI is wrong.

Investigate a false match

Open the original post. Common causes are a filter that mixes buyers with sellers, broad geography or an irrelevant source group. Mark Irrelevant, add a specific exclusion, then test that a similar real request still matches.

Investigate a miss

Check /status first: was the group accessible, was the filter paused, and was the queue delayed? Submit the missed text from the filter card. A short ‘Where can I order?’ may need the message it replied to.

Reduce delivery noise

If matching is good but alerts interrupt too often, select an hourly batch or quiet hours. These settings do not change the filter or stop processing. Results remain in /leads.

Check both error types

Compare a proposed edit with examples of false alerts and misses. A rule that discards every short reply may reduce noise and also hide a genuine request.

Try it with your groups

Open Zuvi, choose an accessible source and test the rule on a real example before monitoring starts.
